Adriana sat reading a book. A book about Minotaur. The green-eyed blonde spent most of her time thinking or reading about Minotaur. Her affinity was know by all, and everyone thought it rather strange that she would rather spend time with Minotaur then with human. She tried to escape completely into her book, but the voice of her boss would wake her every few seconds.
“Adriana! Take this to table 3!” Shouted the Innkeeper.
“Okey!” Adriana said in her sweet voice. She laid her book down. On the cover was a drawing of a muscular Minotaur with the words: ‘Minotaur Myth and Legends’.
The Innkeeper handed the bowl of soup to the Barmaid, who placed it on the table in front of a strange looking man.
“And the Minotaur in room two has asked you to bring him some food.” Yelled the Innkeeper.
Hmm. . . I wonder what he’s like? thought Adriana.

Silense was, as guessed, moody. Of course, his amazing logical genius assumed what everyone else would. If she wasn’t smart enough to listen to me, then she can just get hurt. was what he thought. Silense was lying in bed, still in his undergarments. He had asked Hawkeye to go downstairs and ask for food, simply because he felt so bad. Maybe Thunder wouldn’t hurt her, the same way he hurt him. Suddenly, a knock at the door made a bold statement that there was someone on the other side of it.
“Come in!” said Silense, sitting upright.
Adriana came in, and, not expecting to see a half-naked Minotaur, just sort of froze. Well, she had to have been moving, because she handed him the tray with his food on it, but all she could look at was this Minotaur. He seemed so . . . she couldn’t really put her finger on it, but she really wanted to say attractive. But she knew that if she even thought this, she would consider herself crazy. Maybe it wasn’t an attraction, but perhaps more like a thing with a puppy. You see a puppy sitting on the floor and you want to pet it, and maybe it was the same with this Minotaur. There were just a few problems with her theory. First was that this was a Minotaur, basically a very hairy human, and the second was that she wanted to do more then pet this Minotaur. Either way, she just gave him the food and left.
“Hey, she gave me Soup! I love soup!” Said Silense cheerfully.
“She acted strange, didn’t she?” asked Hawkeye.
“If she did, I didn’t notice. I was too busy looking at this fine looking soup.” Said Silense, putting a spoonful in his mouth.

Even though the soup had helped him become more cheerful, he still had a seeded anger at Emerald. But once again, his voice told him If she wasn’t smart enough to listen to me, then she can just get hurt.. But, no matter what he told himself, he had this feeling deep down inside him. It was making his stomach hurt, and gave him a splitting headache. He thought that maybe going out and hunting would calm his nerves. He sat on some rocks, staring at a perfect specimen of a mountain lion. The lion wasn’t a father, so Silense felt no guilt in eradicating this animal from life. He pulled an arrow back on the string, and let it fly. Suddenly he saw something else, not a mountain lion. It was Emerald. He had shot her right through the heart. He ran up to her, placing her head on his lap.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” she said as she started coughing up blood. Then Emerald faded and he was holding a mountain lion in his lap and had a severe pain in his leg. Turns out that mountain lions can bite really hard. Silense stabbed the creature in the neck, and let it quickly die. He sighed, I should tell her, before she gets hurt. . . thought Silense. He tried to get up, but his leg wound made it hard. He stood up and limped his way back to the city. He went back to the Inn, where he knew there would be a healer. He opened the door, keeping pressure on his hurt leg. He asked for a healer, and when one came, he was surprised. It was Adriana.
“Come with me, you need to be healed right away!” Adriana helped support the large Minotaur.
“Yeah, I kinda figured that.” said Silense. Adriana smiled.
Adriana took him to a back room. The wound was bleeding badly, and she knew that a human would’ve passed out from blood loss already. She told him to remove his pants so she could get to the bite better, and so Silense complied.
And that feeling came back. That feeling she had when she saw him in his room. She felt like she wanted to kiss this Minotaur. She wanted to be his one and only. But, she controlled herself and decided to talk to him.
“So what’s your name?” she said in a shaky voice.
“Silense.” He winced. “What’s your’s?” He said with a slight smile.
“Adriana.” she said simply. She knew that if she talked much, her voice would crack. She could hardly breathe the way it was.
“That’s a pretty name.” Silense said.
“Your name seems pretty odd to be a Minotaur name. Usually they name their child by a physical attribute or something the child is good at.” Adriana was just about finished patching up the wound. She finally felt comfortable around Silense.
“How did you know that? You’re the first human I’ve met who found my name strange.”
“I study Minotaur extensively. They’re my life. What do you do?”
“I’m a hunter. My real name is Hunter. I just call myself Silense because it sounds cooler.” Silense smiled.
“What was your birth name?”
“You know about birth names? Whoa, you must be a Minotaur expert! It was Runner.”
“Was it because you liked running races?”
“Yes, it was. I was the fastest runner of my group!” said Silense proudly.
“My name might have been Messy.” Joked Adriana. She had long sense patched up Silense, and now they were just enjoying each others company. “Do you know a Minotaur by the name of Thunder?” Asked Adriana innocently.
Silense just kind of stared at her. He almost forgot she was there.
“Lets not talk about him.” said Silense quietly.
“Oh. . .” said Adriana sadly. Then there was just awkward silence. They just sat there. Finally, Adriana said, “You should probably get dressed.”
Silense Smiled. “Your probably right.” He put his clothes back on and walked out of the room.
“Hey Barkeep! I have some meat for you when I get back, its because of my wound I didn’t get it.” Silense said to the Innkeeper.
“No worries! Take your time!” said the Innkeeper cheerfully.

Silense had sold the meat and he had a pocketful of gold. He was walking down Market street, seeing if he needed anything. Then he saw Thunder.
Silense tried to walk the other way, but it was too late.
“Hey Hunter!” he heard the booming voice shout. Silense paused a moment, sort of making a different self, a self that actually liked Thunder. A self that wasn’t hurt . . .
“Hey Thunder! Hey Emerald!” He said in a cheery voice. A smile was plastered on his face as he held out his hand for Thunder to shake.
Suddenly, Thunder hugged him. “That’s not the way old buddies greet each other!” Thunder said ecstatically. Silense hugged him back. Tears began welling in his eyes when he heard the word ‘buddies’. What so of sicko was Thunder to think that they would be ‘buddies’ after he had hurt Silense so much.
“So how have you been?” Thuder asked him.
“Oh, you know, same old, same old.” Said Silense.
“Well, if you need to see Emerald, she’ll be at ‘The Mansion’.”
“How can you afford to stay there?” Silense asked Emerald, who gave Silense a rather mean glare.
“I’m paying for it, as am I paying for our meal tonight.” Said Thunder, with a hint of pride.
“That’s good! Well, I need to get back to the Inn. Hawkeye is probably bored without me! Nice to see you two!” And with that, Silense ran away as fast as he could.

Silense strolled into the Inn and went up to his room. He asked Hawkeye is he wanted to eat downstairs, and Hawkeye agreed.
They sat at one of the tables, until Adriana came up.
“Hey you! What will you two have?” she asked cheerfully.
“I want some of that soup that I had earlier today, and just a small amount of meat for Hawkeye here.”
“Is that your hunting companion?”  
“Sure is!” Said Silense with a smile.
“Alrighty!” Adriana said with a smile. She went and told the Innkeeper and went to sit down with Silense.
After introducing Hawkeye to Adriana, Adriana and Silense began talking about everything, from books to music to even early romances, giving Hawkeye no time to talk at all, but he didn’t mind. He was usually pretty quiet.
“Hey, can I ask you something?” said Adriana secretly.
“Sure!” said Silense, slurping the last of his soup from the bowl. Adriana laughed.
“I was just wondering why you didn’t want to talk about Thunder?”
Silense cheer suddenly dissipated.
“He hurt me once. . . I almost escaped from him, too.” said Silense, tears falling down his face.
“What happened?” Asked Adriana, grabbing Silense’s hand and holding it tight.
As he wiped away tears, Silense said the words which wouldn’t leave his lips before:
“He raped me. . .”
